What Should Be Included In A Gestational Diabetes Diet?
A nutritional diet is very important that every pregnant woman, but especially if they also gestational diabetes. Foods like vegetables, cereals, grains, beans, peas and other starchy foods contribute to reduce the amount of insulin needed by the body. Thus, the level of sugar in the blood must be maintained and controlled. Foods such as cereals and wholemeal bread, fruit, vegetables and legumes have a high dietary fiber and should be taken to promote digestion. Care fat is also very important to take vitamins in the diet, but do to make the use of low-fat foods.
